Cabinpac celebrates 40 years in business
On Monday, we marked 40 years in business with an €800,000 investment in a 20,000 sq. ft. factory extension with equipment, increasing our capacity by 50% and 16 new jobs.
Regina Doherty, Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection, officially opened our new factory extension facility, and said:
“I was delighted to officially open Cabinpac’s new production facility. It’s not just infrastructure that is being created here and I am equally pleased to welcome the 16 new jobs created resulting from development. This additional employment underlines the benefit of having a company like Cabinpac within the community. They are a good employer, in it for the long term and proud to be part of the community and to play a part in the local economy.”
Tadhg Twomey, our Managing Director said “We have a convincing story to tell to companies, organisations and public bodies who need extra space, and need it quickly. Cabinpac’s modular building solutions are produced in a controlled factory environment, making them a sustainable and cost-effective option in regard of reduced time and labour costs on-site. In addition, of course, there is less disruption to local transport networks and the immediate area around a site.
There is increasing demand for our products – which are eminently flexible and adaptable to the needs of the individual customer – and we’re supplying modular office, accommodation, storage, manufacturing and warehousing units to a wide variety of companies across an increasing number of industry sectors. As a result, we’re confident we can treble in size from where we are today”.
